- If you do damage a driver, it may be possible to recone it and bring it back to its original performance and condition for a nominal fee. Contact
us, if you think your driver needs reconing.

What is covered:
Smith and Larson Audio warrants its speakers to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal
use for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase. A copy of the original bill of
sale is required for warranty coverage.
What is not covered:
Items not covered by warranty are: speakers damaged from accident, misuse/abuse, or neglect; modified speakers
(including, but not limited to, customized painting and the use of silicone as a gasket); speakers damaged
from shipping; speakers damaged from incorrect installation (such as holes caused by screwdrivers), improper
wiring, or incorrect voltages; or speakers that have been reconed or repaired by entities other than entities
authorized by Smith and Larson Audio. Further, any Smith and Larson Audio product on which the date code has been defaced, modified, or removed
is not covered by this warranty.
What we will do:
Smith and Larson Audio will repair or replace, solely at its discretion, all speakers determined to be covered by
Manufacturer's Warranty. In the event that Smith and Larson Audio chooses to replace a speaker, replacement speakers
will be covered for the remaining portion of the original warranty period. Discontinued models may be
replaced with equivalent products.
What we will not do:
Speakers returned for warranty must be shipped freight prepaid. Smith and Larson Audio will not pay the shipping
or freight charges to return the speaker from you to us.
What you must do:
Smith and Larson Audio is an authorized dealer for several companies. If the speaker was purchased
from any other dealer, the speaker must be returned to that dealer. All returns should use the
following instructions:
Return Packaging
Properly package the speaker for shipment by using one of the following methods:
- Package the speaker using the original carton and inner packing, or
- Take the speaker to a shipping center (such as Mail Boxes PlusR) for packaging, or
- Use the following packing instructions:
Using a large piece of corrugated cardboard with the corrugations running vertically, cut out a
section that is two inches wider than the speaker. Cut the length at least four times the measurement
for the width of the cardboard (See Figure 1).
With the speaker facedown and about 11 inches from the edge (as shown in Figure 1), fold the left
edge of the cardboard over the back of the speaker. Holding this flap against the speaker, fold the
right edge of the cardboard over the back of the speaker continuing tightly across the face of the
speaker. Continue to wrap the cardboard around the speaker until the entire length of the cardboard
is used. Tape the loose flap down to the wrapped speaker with clear, strong packing tape (see Figure 2).
Push down the edges on both ends and secure with clear, strong packing tape. The speaker should
be wrapped tightly so that it cannot slide within the cardboard sleeve (See Figure 3).
Place in a box large enough to allow for plenty of shipping material (bubble wrap, newspaper, etc.)
to surround the entire speaker (See Figure 4). Do not use packing peanuts!

If you are shipping more than one speaker, wrap them individually in cardboard and pack them into the
shipping box either face-to-face or magnet-to-magnet.
A copy of the original invoice must be included with the speaker.
